This was my first apartment in Utah, and I loved it! My studio felt more like a one-bedroom thanks to the sliding door that separated the bedroom from the living room. The space was also really spacious and affordable, compared to apartments in downtown Salt Lake City, which come at a much higher price. I'll especially miss the view here, I had a great sunset/mountain view with airplanes landing. The management team is also very welcoming and friendly, and the maintenance is great and fast!

I've lived here for almost nine years! This complex hires excellent office staff and maintenance. This makes all the difference. There is excellent sound protection between the apartments. This is really great if you work from home. The residents are respectful of each other. If you want to find a safe, pet-centric culture, you've found your people. I have no plans to move.

I’ve been living at West Station Apartments for a while now, and I have to say, it’s one of the best places I’ve ever called home. The management team is outstanding, always going above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable and heard. Lisa, the manager, is particularly amazing with her excellent communication skills. She’s super easy to work with, always ensuring that any concerns are addressed promptly. The neighbors here are incredibly friendly, creating a real sense of community. The complex itself is always spotless, including the pool area, which is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Speaking of maintenance, Phil from the maintenance team is fantastic! He handles service requests with impressive speed, often completing them the same day or by the next day.

My apartment floor flooded on Saturday The managers and maintenance were quick to act and made necessary repairs for me since I have a little baby Lisa and the lady leasing office are fantastic and always making sure that we are okay. I have lived here since 2016. Me and my wife have seen people come and go over time. What I can say is the staff has always set a wonderful standard. Maintenance is well kept up on and Bakir is a great guy to chat with if you get a moment to do so. Any issues are addressed quickly and the apartment itself is great. Very pet friendly community and the overhaul of the on site workout center is actually top notch. Pool in the summer, hot tub is typically all year unless there is some work needs done (as you do). Grill for public use etc. Its packed with good things and the elevator for moving in and out is a major bonus I dont think most realize what a blessing it is until you get to use it. Lisa has always been a fair and honest manager, and Mindy is great and friendly! (Jason you were epic as well brother!).

Management makes West Station Apartments a place worth living at. Lisa, Mindy, and Bakir do their best to ensure residents are comfortable and happy. It's impressive what three people can accomplish for an entire community. Management addresses my problems quickly and efficiently. The location is convenient, being in the heart of the city. Trax, the SLC airport, and great Indian food (Star of India) are nearby. The gated parking ensures peace of mind from car break-ins. There are homeless around North Temple, but the keycard entry mitigates unwanted entry. Overall, it is safe and quiet here. The only downside of living here is the limited guest parking options. If you plan on having more than one guest, it requires forethought.

After calling a ton of places, west station was the one place that answered all of my calls and followed up promptly. I also noticed that the reviews were pretty good. Our second month in, our apartment floor flooded. The managers and maintenance were quick to act and made necessary accommodations for me as I work from home. They took many phone calls and we discussed other options that I needed to arrange. I moved into West Station almost a year ago. I needed to move to Salt Lake from out-of-state, and couldn't tour the complex before signing the lease. The application process was very straightforward with no hidden fees, and they even worked with me to coordinate an after-hours check-in time, which was very helpful after a 13 hour drive. Maintenance service is quick and easy to request. The hallways are vacuumed regularly, and it is typically very quiet (except near the poolside on some summer weekends). The valet trash pick up is consistent and convenient when you don't live on the first floor. I definitely don't regret choosing West Station Apartments and have renewed my lease for another year.

Solid place to live. Comfortable, repairs come quickly when called for. I’ve lived here for several years with little issue. Only consistent complaint is the local area- sketchy and there’s nothing to do, and the lack of space for pets to relieve themselves, making a foul smell build up immediately around the entire building, especially near entrances.

I have lived here for over a year and I have always been satisfied with not only the management but the fact that they have always been fast to respond to fixing things if I needed. My air conditioning had gone out and I was going to have to take my animals and go stay at a hotel and it was the weekend and I didn’t know I could report it as an emergency and someone told me to just call maintenance and within twenty minutes he was here and brought an air conditioner. I am so grateful to have such an amazing team.

We’ve lived here for over a year and our experience has been positive for the most part. The management is absolutely lovely and are so quick to address concerns and maintenance requests. Resident parking is adequate; it’s definitely appreciated that there are enough spots to accommodate everyone and that the main parking lot is gated. Guest parking, however, has been less than ideal; I will admit that it’s been frustrating to only have very few first-come-first-serve spots and one guest pass to allocate to visitors;. The management and maintenance staff are definitely a big selling point though, so a big thank you to Lisa, Bakir, and Mindy!

I've lived here for 4 years now. Ive been in the 2 bedroom with a roommate and the studio. This is a great place to live. The apartments are nicely upkept and furnished. They take care of maintenance within the building in a timely manner. The amenities are nice. Parking and pets have never been an issue. The lot is gated and the building requires a pass but keep mind of the general area and dont leave things out and about. I would recommend to anyone looking to move into a new apartment.

We have had a great experience here at West Station, the staff are awesome to work with. Lisa (the manager) is professional and personable. Bakir (the maintenance man) is friendly and fast working. The building is safe, all the doors are locked and there are security cameras all around and security patrol. Great pool area for the summer time and well equipped gym. We are happy residents and will be renewing our lease! ALSO **there is NO charge for guest parking but it does require a guest pass** ample resident parking compared to other apartments around the area and in SLC so a big win there too

Lived here for two years. Was a great experience. I was, as many were, deeply affected by the COVID pandemic, and Lisa aggressively sought relief funds for me, saving me months in rent and keeping a roof over my head. Mindy is super friendly and always makes you feel like you have a friend there. Bakir does an amazing job maintaining the place, and is always a cool guy to shoot the breeze with. There are many heartless apartment complexes out there, but this is one that truly strives to make you feel like it's a home. One note: do, however, beware of the mandatory fees. In a 1BR, I was paying about an extra third due to all the fees and utilities they collect. Prepare yourself for a little sticker shock and you should be okay.

Its not dead center in downtown (which is great because I don't love traffic) but its only 5 minutes away! The location is incredible! It is surrounded with everything you need from gas, grocery stores, fast food, emissions test DRIVE THRU, and much more. The free way is close. As far as the actual apartment itself, this place is amazing! The pool is awesome! The hot tub is nice and warm! The apartments are pretty new and the appliances are in awesome shape. They are pet friendly which is great for our cat! Management cares about people and their pets and families. If an issue ever occurs in your apartment, they respond to the issue fairly quick. The parking is gated which is an awesome feature to have (gated community). And lastly, the people that live in these apartments are all really nice. I have never had an issue with ANY of the neighbors. I am excited that I have found this place. Definitely an amazing place to live!

The only downside we have is people getting into the apartments that don’t live here, and the gated parking. They are super pet friendly which is hard to find in SLC. Its super close to downtown and we’ve enjoyed our studio apartment!

My only beef is that neighbors seem to think that their walls don't adjoin to any other dwelling and that the pool hours and "quiet hours" don't apply to them. I lived in west station for about 9 months before I had to leave for a deployment but it’s a great place to live. The leasing manager and leasing agent are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. They were responded quickly to my concerns the few times I had concerns. They were willing to go above and beyond to make the tenants feel welcome an provide assistance when possible for those in difficult situations. I would definitely recommend staying at West Station for your housing situation.

My experience with West Station has been nothing but wonderful. Management is friendly and helpful, both Lisa and Bakir are pros at what they do. The sense of community is strong, welcoming and warm. The building is well maintained and the apartments are beautiful. Bakir is one of the best maintenance around, experienced and always quick to assist with any issue. Lisa is top notch when it comes to management - having good management is crucial in enjoying where you live and I have the highest praise for her. West Station treated everyone to a free taco truck just last week and do community events alike throughout the year, good location and access controlled entry only which is a big plus. Happy to say I love where I live!

Compared to all the other apartments in SLC - location, price, safety, cleanliness, etc these apartments really are the best. The gates are secure, and there is security that patrols the premise. We haven’t had any incidents and I do feel safe in my apartment. There is a cleaning staff that takes the trash and vacuums all the halls, etc. so the complex is clean. No one really leaves their trash around or anything. I had a few minor issues the past few months, but I think they’re pretty typical to apartment living. And Lisa the apartment manager does a really great job at making sure things get taken care of and addressing any issues.

When we first came Jason was incredible at making us feel at home, and after he left for new horizons Mindy and Lisa have done the same. They've even ran cute little events at times, such as the building wide trick or treat night and the toy donation during Christmas time. I've felt like the staff here is very much focused on providing a great living experience no matter the circumstances. They're willing to do the little things. I think I have been greeted when I leave for work in the morning by name pretty consecutively since I moved here. Also if you're a dog owner, there is a great dog park nearby that's less than 5 minutes away by car. Maybe a 10 minute walk. Many of the residents here go there, and it's a great way to connect with neighbors.

I had the privilege of being the Leasing Manager at West Station for over a year. I say privilege because that's honestly how it felt working with my team (Lisa and Bakir) and being around the residents. Outside of the great amenities like the gym (I still use it on occasion...it's legit), pool / year round jacuzzi, coffee cart, soda fountain, etc., there is a genuine sense of community among the residents that I don't believe realistically exists at most properties and I've remained friends with quite a few of them as a result. Lisa, Bakir and Mindy have a fundamental desire to make WS truly feel like a home and that is evident in how they interact with everyone on a daily basis. I encourage you to check it out for yourself if you're looking for a well-priced, luxury apartment home downtown. One last important thing to note, the positive reviews of WS over the past year + were completely organic and not solicited by our team via a contest or the promise of some prize which can happen at properties. On the flip side and recognizing I'm completely biased haha, most poor reviews are either untrue, embellished and / or were fueled by an underlying agenda that is not readily apparent to a prospective resident like yourself and should be taken with a rather large grain of salt:) Good luck with your search!

I have lived here for the past two years and recently moved due to personal reasons, but this is the most affordable luxury living in Salt Lake. They allow pets, the grounds are kept super clean, and the maintenance is superb. The gym is one of the nicest gyms I have ever seen at an apartment complex and there is plenty of parking. The management staff made the difference for me; Lisa, Jason, and Bakir are amazing staff and made my time living there the best. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable luxury living in a convenient location!

I recently moved into this complex a couple of months ago and have had nothing but wonderful interactions with management. Jason has been nothing short of amazing when handling any request that I have. Anything I bring to him he handles as soon as possible. He is always there to just have a conversation which is really cool. Bakir is the maintenance man in the complex and gets any issues taken care of super quickly. I had an issue with the doors inside of my apartment not closing, and he had it fixed in the same day. Taking my first look at the apartment at West Station, securing the one I wanted and signing the lease was straight forward, easy and hassle free. But the real bonus came after I moved in. The few, minor maintenance request I made were met with a smile from the property managers and quickly resolved, exceeding my expectations. Another great feature is that this building is not hugging a busy street. It's tucked away just far enough where one doesn't hear the rumble and roar of traffic. As city dwelling goes, West Station is calm, quiet place.

I loved it here! We were here for 2.5 years but too bad we HAD to move out!!! Our leasing manager, Ruby was a douche but her accomplice leasing agent Lisa is awesome!!! We love you Lisa!!! Thank you for always lending us a helping hand especially being very patient with my family esp husband lol Thank you for spoiling us to continental breakfast. Although we completed our contract and couldn't renew, I would NOW recommend WEST STATION but in the past I wouldn't due to the horrific experiences that did occur. Thats all the past, youre the leasing manager and you do a fantastic job, i am certain of it!!!! Oh my younger sister and her little growing family moved here and they love it here too!

I never actually take the time to leave reviews, but the management of West station is truly the best I’ve ever dealt with! Anytime I have had an issue or question about my apartment they were immediately accommodating and even followed up down the road to ensure everything was continuing to go well! I truly feel like the management cares about my experience and does everything possible to make this my home. Not to mention how cute the apartments are inside!!! I lived at West Station for over a year and it was excellent- Ruby, the manager and the staff took care of everything quickly and were very kind to us. The location is awesome and super convenient since my hubs works in Layton & I worked in Midvale. We had to move for work or we would’ve stayed longer! Got my move out bill & had no unexpected charges and was relieved that they were up front about all charges and warned me in advance. Thanks!

I'm not usually one to leave a review, but I AM the type to read reviews before I buy into anything! So... that being said, I figured I should do my part and give an honest review as it might be helpful. I have lived here for over a year now. The original management was amazing! They kept everything so clean and would go out of their way to be helpful to residents. When the new management came around... there were a few hiccups. Yes, I was here during the "no water" drama that you have read in reviews below. As inconvenient as that was for most of us... I feel like they did their best to provide resources (hotel rooms, lowered utility cost etc.) to the residents while things were getting fixed. They have been a lot better these last 4 months and have added a couple perks to the living area to help create a better atmosphere. (complimentary soda and coffee machine, pool party, lounges on each floor, occasional free breakfasts etc.) They are getting better and improvement/effort is all you can really ask for. ** Update: My lease is up and I've been paying month to month for a while now. I gave them my 60 day notice to vacate... but ended up needing to extend for a few more months. They had already sold my unit but were able to pull some strings and let me extend my stay. Ruby and Lisa (I believe that her name) made all the difference. I really appreciate their help and willingness to work with me. They saved me big time! Pros: Modern, Newer Apartments, Affordable, Kind and Knowledgable Staff, Hot Tub Year Round, Pool in Summer, Clean Gym, Trash Valet, Washer Dryer, Hardwood Floors & Carpet, Tall Ceilings, Covered Parking, Fun Neighbors who have a Facebook page where we can communicate, Secure Building w/ Gated Parking, Pet Friendly, Close to Airport and easy access major freeways, Complimentary Carts to help you take in groceries/items. Cons: Thin Walls, Trash Valet stinks up the hallways and its rarely picked up on time... but it gets picked up eventually so I can't complain too much, Semi-Sketchy neighborhood, Smaller Size apartments with NO storage closets, lack of Guest Parking now that the gravel lot isn't available. Overall, I feel like this is a nice place to live. Every complex has its issues but it seems like management is doing their best to improve the living environment and deal with any issues that come their way in a timely manner. They have always been very kind, honest and helpful towards me. I can only speak for myself, but I would definitely suggest West Station to a friend/family member.

Place was clean and the residence we saw even smiled and waved. Seems like a fantastic community. Long: I first looked to live here a year ago; we tried to call and no one picked up so we went in person to get a tour and rang the doorbell like the good old days. We stood there for 5 - 7 min ringing until a nice cleaning lady asked how she could help and pointed us to the manager. We walked to her office and she was extremely stand offish and before anything else said "How did you get in here?!" She treated us poorly and said "We have units available but I can't show you any today (was around 2pm) so come back some other day." We walked out and she followed us, not to show us out but to yell at the cleaning lady. Not cool. Anyway, a year passes and looking for an apartment again. Decided to give this place another shot and was met by Lisa this time. She was EXTREMELY courteous, understanding, and patient. She was shocked when I told her about previous management and assured us that management had changed since then. She then took us on a tour, was extremely knowledgeable, and did very well to make us feel comfortable. She addressed issues that had come up in the past (I asked after reading Google Reviews) and what they had done to improve based on feedback. I regret it but I got greedy and ended up not taking a FANTASTIC lease option they offered (I am a hippy and found some sustainable complexes I was hoping would work out that didn't). The experience was pleasant and under the new management I would highly suggest that this is a great place to live.

So there are reviews on here that state we were out of water for a period of time. Yes this is true but management did great during this time. After they found out it was going to be an extended timeframe we did get offered a hotel across the street to use. It was not a super nice place and honestly I just used it for the shower after the first night. I got to meet one of the owners and he was very apologetic about the whole situation. I have been very impressed with how they handled it. They are going above and beyond to make sure that we are happy! As compensation we are getting a discount for the time we were out of water. We even got a letter from all four owners. Thank you West Station! 05-26-17 Another update for everyone looking to live here. You see a lot has changed. Since I have been here we have gone through a lot of staff and a lot of changes have been done. The new manager is great! You tell her some thing is wrong and she is on it! Our new leasing agent is way cool. He is very personable and friendly. Three is not much noise here on my side, but on our fb page it seems to be a different story on other sides and levels so I can't really say much there. As you have seen the transition was not handeled very well but has improved. The matainace guy, Bakier??, is super awesome! Best one I have dealt with in my living experiences. He will work around your schedule and make sure that he does not disturb you if that is possible when somethjing needs to be done. The after hours security team has been a pleasure, they are fast responding and will issue a citation to loud residents after 10 pm to make sure everyone has the best experience. I have lived here for a year now and if there were a few more changes I would probably stay but since getting a new job, I will be leaving at the end of the lease.

Being a current resident, after reading these reviews I will now learn not to take apartment rating reviews seriously. So many people exaggerating. I do agree that things have been a lil bit shaky ever since new management took over. However, all of the problems have been resolved. Management has been prompt in responding to any issues. The new management is doing their best in my opinion. These aren't slumlords and I've dealt with much worse apartments with terrible management and landlords. In my opinion this is one of the best apartments I've ever lived in. I'm being flat out serious too.

My experience with West Station and the staff has been excellent. I have lived in temporary corporate housing at various times in my career and have never found a manger (Armando) so accommodating and willing to go the extra mile as he has. His professionalism and attitude has been exemplary. I was particularly impressed with his commitment to service , which is a rare quality these days. Armando was willing to take his personal time during the weekend past his normal working hours to make sure my internet was working. Additionally, his commitment to follow up with his tenants has been equally impressive. I would strongly recommend West Station to fellow work associates and friends and would definitely stay at West Station in the future.
